I’m a designer with over 20 years experience, skilled in user experience and user interface design, with a specialist background in interaction design.
Starting in 1996 as a design intern at Apple, I’ve since worked in-house for Sony, at consultancy frog design, and as a contractor/freelancer. I’ve designed products and services for web, mobile, desktop, and consumer electronics – for companies including Sony, Disney, Nokia, Intel, and Apple.
I hold an MA in Computer Related Design (later called Interaction Design) from the Royal College of Art in London, and a BA in Consumer Product Design from Coventry University.
In design work, I apply a range of skills in user experience – including research, concept ideation, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and user testing. By understanding user and business needs as well as technical constraints, solutions can be holistically designed.
I’ve lived and travelled extensively in Europe, North America, and Asia, and currently reside in Berlin, Germany.
